Davin's dance studies include ballet, modern, jazz and Ukrainian. He has been a student at Dance Unlimited, received full scholarship with the Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensive under the tutelage of George de la Pena, Francesca Corkle and Alexandra Proia, and he was an Ali Pourfarrokh Full Tuition Scholarship student with The School of Alberta Ballet. He has also received the Alan Hooper Scholarship as a participant in the Banff Centre Training Program as a member of Young Dancers In Performance. This summer he attended the American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive in New York City and performed works by Leslie Brown. He has performed in The Alberta Ballet School’s presentation of "Paquita", The Alberta Ballet’s production of Christopher Wheeldon's "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" and The Joffrey Ballet School's Summer Intensive in works by Gerald Arpino and John Magnus. This is Davin’s first season with Ballet Kelowna.
