Dance with Ballet Kelowna
Ballet Kelowna is currently accepting applications for Company Artists and Emerging Artists for our 2025/26 season.
Company Artists: If you are an experienced dancer who enjoys working with emerging and established choreographers in a collaborative and diverse environment, we encourage you to apply. You must have strong classical ballet and contemporary training as well as improvisational and partnering skills.
Emerging Artists: Ballet Kelowna provides opportunities for recent graduates of professional training programs to train, work, and perform alongside Company Artists through our Emerging Artist Program. The program runs through the Company season.
All applicants must submit the following footage and documents via the “apply now” button, below.
Ballet Technique: 3 exercises at the barre from ronde de jambe onward; 4 exercises in the centre including adagio, pirouette, petit allegro, and grand allegro.
Classical and Contemporary Solos, unedited:
A Classical variation, danced en pointe for those that wear pointe shoes.
A Contemporary solo that demonstrates the applicant’s versatility.
Improvisation: Up to 2 minutes of improvisation.
Partnering: Up to 4 minutes of partnering. Not required, but highly recommended.

Photos: 1 headshot and 2 - 3 recent dance full-body photos.
Final candidates will be invited to an in-person audition at our studio in Kelowna.
